Cate Mackie

In 2016 I completed a research project looking into support for d/Deaf costume makers within Scottish theatre and education. I also recently passed my British Sign Language exams, levels 1&2. These experiences have developed my awareness of the Deaf Community and theatre companies. 

I made these short films as part of my research project, as an aid to teaching d/Deaf students the basics of costume making. 

They all have either subtitles or are British Sign Langauge interpreted.
