ABOUT

My name is Cate and I've been working in theatre since 1991. I have been a dresser, a wardrobe assistant, a wardrobe deputy & a wardrobe supervisor. I have also supervised small scale tours, designed costumes for a number of shows and worked as a costume tutor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I'm currently Head of Costume at Dundee Rep & Scottish Dance Theatre and, in my spare time, myself and my partner make up Cawcas Dolls. (Hand Crafted Dolls for Disturbed Grown-Ups)

I love making and wearing prop costumes and fancy dress outfits when I get the chance.

I live in Scotland but I'm always happy to travel for work.

I love making costumes because you are rarely asked for the same thing twice, plus you get to dress up for a living!
